Ummita Buhari’s murder: What Chinese community in Nigeria says about prosecution of Geng Quanrong

The Chinese Business Community in Nigeria (CBCAN) has reacted to the murder of Ummukulsum Buhari in Kano.
The lady, also known as Ummita, was allegedly murdered Friday night by a Chinese national, Geng Quanrong.
A statement on Monday by CBCAN Head, Mike Zhang condemned the gruesome killing.
Zhang said the criminal act should be allowed to be handled professionally by relevant security agencies.
“The Chinese community in Kano is fully in support of the law taking its proper course”, he noted.
He said the people of China appreciate the hospitality so far received in Kano and will continue to be law-abiding, and contribute to the state’s development.
The statement further condoled with the family of the deceased, a graduate of Agriculture Science from Kampala University.
23-year-old Ummita was a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
